Rolling Stones keyboardist Chuck Leavell is combining two of his passions – music and trees – to explore forests across the country for a new 13-week television series, “America’s Forests with Chuck Leavell.” And his first stop is in Oregon. This episode focuses on the innovation of building timber skyscrapers in Portland; adapting to ‘fire forests’ in Bend; and habitat restoration in the Siuslaw National Forest on the Oregon Coast.
